We are looking for a Junior Shipping Agent to join our Logistics/Marine Operations team in the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will support vessel and cargo operations, port formalities, shipping documentation, logisticscoordination and communication with maritime and operational stakeholders.

Missions principales

Key Responsibilities

1. Support vessel arrival, berthing, operations and departure activities.
2. Coordinate with port authorities, terminal operators, customs and other stakeholders.
3. Assist with vessel and cargo documentation.
4. Monitor vessel schedules and cargo movements.
5. Support crew changes, transportation, accommodation and vessel husbandry services.
6. Assist with import/export and customs-clearance activities.
7. Maintain accurate shipping records and reports.
8. Ensure compliance with company HSE and operational requirements.
9. Report operational issues, delays and HSE concerns.
10. Support the Logistics/Shipping Manager in daily marine operations.

Profil recherché

Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree/HND in Shipping, Maritime Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
2. 1–3 years' relevant experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, maritime, port operations or freight forwarding.
3. Good knowledge of shipping documentation and logistics processes.
4. Strong organizational and communication skills.
5. Good command of MS Office.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
7. Strong HSE awareness.
8. Fluency in English and French is an advantage.
