RETAIL SYSTEM OPERATIONS MANAGER / SENIOR MANAGE

About the Role
We are a fast-growing consumer electronics retail chain operating across West Africa, selling mobile phones, home appliances, and more. We're rolling out a new retail management system across all our stores and need an experienced operations leader to make it happen on the ground.
This is NOT an IT role. We need someone who understands how retail stores actually run — and can bridge the gap between a system built at HQ and the reality of day-to-day store operations in Africa.
What You'll Do
Lead the rollout of our retail system across stores in Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, and beyond
Build SOPs for store onboarding, training, issue resolution, and operational reviews
Recruit, train, and manage a local operations team
Run store training programs and conduct regular compliance checks
Work with HQ product & tech teams to resolve issues and relay local feedback
Deliver weekly operations reports, data quality reviews, and risk assessments

Profil du poste

What You Bring
5+ years in retail operations, chain store management, or ERP/POS system implementation
Hands-on knowledge of store processes: procurement, inventory, sales, checkout, reconciliation
Experience building SOPs and scalable operational frameworks
Team leadership and cross-functional coordination skills
English (working language); French and/or Chinese are strong pluses
Ideal Background
Regional operations manager at a retail chain in Africa
Mobile / consumer electronics retail operations
ERP, POS, or Odoo implementation experience
Multi-country retail project experience
